Astronautalis, Ceschi & Factor Chandelier World TourMay 17, 2016

I’m so proud of my friend Ceschi. The dedication and never ending commitment to not only his music but to everyone else he believes in, is astounding. In some way, I may not be exactly where I am today if it wasn’t for his support when I needed it. Anyone that knows him and his family knows what I’m talking about, the best!

As the world tour hits Europe this week, here are a few images from last weeks show at BAR in New Haven.

Good luck guys!

Kristin & Tony’s WeddingDecember 27, 2011

I really wanted to write something beautiful for this.  Something to match the beauty of these two incredible people.  It’s hard sometimes to come up with worthy words.  Thank god I’m a photographer.  I’ll respectfully step aside and let them speak for me.

Tony & Kristin thank you so much for a wonderful day.  I’m so so happy for you guys!
Wherever you go I hope the waves are righteous and the sand perfect along your path.

Please enjoy the photos.

The Family That Plays Together…December 27, 2011

…Stays Together and does this family know how to play.  Kris and Mary Ann have brought together two wonderful families, kids and all.  If there is one thing they like to play at more than any other it’s SKIING!  It was totally a ski themed wedding.  The guests didn’t sign a guestbook they signed a full size Ski readied in white for signatures.  A nice touch, thought by all the Ski Clubbers in attendance, my mom included.

One of my favorite things in all of this is getting to see friends and family celebrate a couples wedding day.  Everyone comes together for a single moment bringing love and energy for the newlyweds to carry forward into their lives.  It’s really amazing to sit back and watch it unfold before your eyes.

Kris and Mary Ann it was a pleasure to be a part of your special moment.
Enjoy some photos from your day.

A Castle WeddingDecember 27, 2011

Betsy always dreamed of one day getting married to the man of her dreams in a castle.  In this particular castle in fact! She and Jeremy (the man of her dreams) approached the owners of the Castle Inn, now a private home in Old Saybrook, with their idea and the rest is history.  Planning began right away. Mason Jars, flowers from Hawaii, corn on the cob, lobster rolls(so good!) and so much more!  Unfortunately, the weather didn’t exactly cooperate the way we hoped.  We all scrambled a bit, as some plans changed, but in the end everything turned out.. well… like a wedding in a castle should. Perfect!  They even had fireworks!!!

Thank you both for such a wonderful experience.
Enjoy a few photos from the day.

It’s All in the Details.December 27, 2011

And that’s what it usually comes down to, things like timing, communication even appearance.  We so often focus on certain details, while never noticing others and sometimes even neglecting the important ones.  However, on this magical day everything came together and not one detail was left untouched.  Everything you could see told a story of love & family.  A very special moment indeed and it was amazing to be apart of all the celebrations.  Thank you!

Jen & Bruno, I’ll never forget how nervous you two were throughout this whole process.  You did it and there’s no looking back! (except at the photos..haha)

Go and conquer your dreams together, one by one!

Here are just a few images from your day.

Enjoy!

Fairfield University Graduates!December 21, 2011

This past weekend was a busy one!  I proposed on Friday, had an engagement shoot on Saturday, a birthday party to attend Saturday night, Nora’s undergrad and Stephanie’s graduate ceremony on Sunday.  phew!

Well we avoided the rain again on Sunday for two beautiful commencements. First, It was an honor to be present at Nora’s graduation in the A.M.  Congratulations dear! It was wonderful to see you and the family.

After a few hours of waiting and wandering around campus it was Steph’s turn.  I made my way back to the Bellarmine lawn, where I met her parents and godfather.  We proudly watched as she was honored with an award from the University, The St. Ignatius Loyola Medal, for outstanding university service.  The only recipient I might add.  It was moving, no doubt, to witness the tradition and history that IS the University of Fairfield and for these two graduates a memory not soon to be forgotten.

Here are a few pics from the day!

The Kitty Kat Lounge Birthday PartyDecember 21, 2011

Studio 8 was in full effect this past Saturday night for a special 21st birthday party.  The transformation from blank slate to party place was nothing short of AMAZING!  In every corner, on every table, from ceiling to dance floor the room was full of detail for a Kitty Kat Lounge theme party.  Though planning was in the works for weeks this metamorphosis took place almost over night.  A dedicated staff and crew no doubt from everyone at Anthony’s to the gentlemen of Studio 8, Jason and Dan, made it all possible.  Here are just a few photos from the night.  The most important part, the cake and the birthday girl, the beautiful Miss Caterina!  Cat, you were great and I had so much fun working with you!
